The Story of Australian Sheepskin Bulla Boots

It’s a long way to Fern Tree Gully, Australia.

You’ll find something in Fern Tree Gully that’s hard to find these days: handmade quality craftsmanship.

There you’ll find Graeme, maker of genuine handcrafted sheepskin boots and footwear for over eighteen years…practicing a long-standing tradition. Honest work.

Graeme’s boot are built tough to stand up to the punishing heat of the Australian outback, the damp of the Pacific foam and the snows of Mount Bulla.

Some say they’re an après ski boot, some, an après surf. Most just wear them because they like them. Those that do, swear by them.

You don’t have to make the trip to Fern Tree Gully to see Graeme’s work. You can see it on the streets of Sydney, London, LA and Whistler

There are no machines. It’s all done by hand. Every pair.

Graeme’s been approached to make his boots in a factory, to scale up, make more boots. He just laughs. “Then they wouldn’t be genuine”, he says. Nope, Graeme prefers making them, himself, in his shed out back.
